B-liv Glow and Shine

Ever since I stopped having breakouts, I realised the my skin has become drier and there are enlarged pores on the cheek and nose if you look close enough. I'm not blessed with flawless skin like korean actresses but I hope I can at least look good with minimal makeup.

Therefore, I've been looking for some mask or exfoliating shit that can help to renew and smoothen the skin. And I found one perfect product today!!!

Remember B-liv Off with those heads serum? Its like one of the best invention in world following 3M acne patch. And now,  introducing B-liv Glow and Shine skin smoothening mask! Another product worth to splurge on.

It helps in exfoliating, pore reducing, and brightening. Sounds perfect right? After you cleanse your face, just apply a thick layer over your face and wait for 5 to 10mins. You will feel a slight cooling effect on your skin. After that just wet your palms and gently exfoliate the skin. And rinse!

Immediately, your skin feels smooth and the pores feel tighten. This product helps to deeply exfoliates damaged, scarred or unhealthy skin. Lightens, brightens dull and uneven skin tone. The smell is amazing too, smells like spa or something like that. I swear your skin will lighten by one shade immediately.

Use once a week will do.

Go get from SASA now, its rather expensive for the size. $34.95 with another 20% off now.

Say hello to smooth PERFECT skin in no time.

The correct skincare process

How many skincare product do you use on your face?
Are you using them correctly?
You may be spending at least $100 on a bottle of essence, but if you don't use them correctly, your money will go to waste. Because the product will not have any effect on your skin.

So, let me teach you the correct skincare process!!!

The secret of flawless face!

No more soft focus to achieve the flawless look! I'm going to share this secret remedy to people with pok acne face, oily skin and blackheads whiteheads prone face.

So read carefully~!

My complexion belongs to the oily to combination type. Probably getting a little dry at some areas as I aged... I thought its the end of having rough skin and nose after discovering the self heating pore pack from Etude House along with the strongest black pore pack ever from Watsons.

BUT! But but but!

I've made a bigger discovery on how to achieve flawless skin while I was surfing randomly online.
And that is....using the Johnsons and Johnsons baby pure cornstarch powder!

Using cornstarch powder on face is actually some old traditional granny skincare method in the past. I almost thought it was a myth until I use it on myself. Its damn easy to use and in 3 days to 1 week, you can see the difference on your face. It helps to dry up pimples and scars, prevent future pimples from forming, makes your skin whiter and in fact, smaller pores.

Along with cornstarch powder, here's another product highly recommended by me. It's call B-liv off with those heads. It helps to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads, really really effective and easy to use too! I use these 2 products together and now I can almost dump my concealors and I save so much time in putting on make up every morning.

Steps to getting flawless face:

1. Wash and tone your face as usual
2. Apply B-liv to areas prone to blackheads and whiteheads (like nose and cheeks)
3. Apply your whatever other skincare products
(tip: The correct sequence should be toner, pimple treatment essence. serum, eyecream, moisturizer, night mask)
4. Finally seal your whole skin with moisturizer and night mask
5. Wait for skin to dry
6. Apply cornstarch powder all over your face avoiding your eyes

Continue this for 1 week and you will see the difference!

Where to buy:

You can only get the Johnsons and Johnsons Pure cornstarch powder from Nishino Pharmacy. (If you want to use normal cornstarch, you can try that tool Haha)
As for B-liv, its available in SASA.

You will thank me for this tip.

Seriously.

PureBubble

New discovery!
Spotted this mini bubble pack at ALT when I was shopping around one day. The font size for the instructions is so small that I almost go blind reading it.

This is a product that can help to purify the skin by creating soft foamy bubbles, removing blackheads and dirt from the skin while pumping your face with all the oxygen bubbles. It is so easy to use and I can feel that my skin became cleaner and whiter after using it.

It comes in different types, the one that I have here is the Royal jelly one, there's also seaweed, milk tea, rose and lots more. It cost like $2.90 for this small pack so its rather costly for such a small quantity. However, worth a try for some skin pampering once in a while.

How to use:

1. Wash your face
2. Damp your face
3. Scoop this stuff out and apply it on your face. It will start to bubble by itself and gets all foamy
4. Apply it all over your face
5. Wait a while probably 2mins
6. Wash and you are done

Easy?

Get it from ALT at Bugis BHG now.

Slimming during shower

There's so many slimming cream around but most of them doesnt work.. Bought this from Nishino Pharmacy and its a cooling leg cream. Suppose to soothe tired legs and help in blood circulation, making it slim... Not a bad product but it gel like texture with a sticky feel after that. And everytime I use it before bed I feel like it will stain my blanket... But it does make the leg feel tighter and hydrated.

The next thing I like to explore will be different salt scrub. Here's the peach flavor bath salt, not my favourite cos it has this weird milky smell...rather weird. But it makes the skin very smooth after that. And its really cheap~ Less than 10sgd.

Here's another slimming cream that I hate. The first slimming cream I tried ages ago, I think it just generate heat but doesnt really help. Plus its the same sticky texture again.... Dont like....Dont work.

Then, I gave up on slimming cream and stick to bath salt scrub. Dou it doesnt make me lose inches, but it helps to exfoliate dead skin and keep it smooth and nice!

And here's my favourite Esteny SANA scrub with raw sea salt! It smells like blackcurrent and the salt is medium grain, making it good for body exfoliation. It helps to firm skin and whitens them too~ I really love the after-feel of this scrub cos it gives the body a menthol like feel, very cooling and it makes me very sleepy after using it, and the skin is super smooth and the smell is super nice!

A good bedtime scrub and worth a try! I got it from ALT and its a shame that ALT is closed!!! Super sad..they have so many cute stuff from Japan! Probably can get it from SASA or John little then~

Anyway, slimming cream doesnt help, unless you apply, massage and wrap your body dilligently every single day!! Exercise is still the best option and taking hot bath helps too! Immerse half of your body into hot water will help blood circulation and increase your metobolism. The water level should not exceed your heart.

I bought this self-heating mineral bath salt from Japan before and its really good. Was feeling damn hot using it, but the smell was not very nice and the water was almost black in color, making it abit yucky. Anyway, taking hot baths makes you hydrated, so be sure to drink lots of water and apply moisturiser after that!

I love baths

Bihada Ichizoku

Recently Singapore is bringing in more products from Bihada Ichizoku (My Heroine). I love the manga girl packaging! But I think somehow it's not a very convincing packaging for their skincare range but good for their cosmetic range.
I had been looking for a face moisturizer but I dont want it to be too oily. Then I saw this product from Bihada Ichizoku. Its the finishing cream (moisturizer). Its in a gel form with no fragrance. After applying it with your fingers the gel will turn into water. Sinking into the skin and hydrating it. I tested the product on my hand and it made my hand super hydrated and smooth!!! So I decided to buy.
Overall its a good moisturizer thats not oily at all. I guess it keeps my skin hydrated but somehow there's this weird smell...which i dont realy like. And it doesnt hydrate my face as good as when I tested it on my hands. Haha... I probably wouldnt buy it the 2nd time and would rather stick to Rohto...

My new favourite remover!!

I had been using the eye make up remover from Loreal all the while and got quite sick of it cos its quite oily. Then I saw this Cleansing Express Eye Make Up remover from Watsons. Its not oily at all and remove my make up totally!!! Especially when I used fake lash and smurge proof, waterproof eyeliner and such, my eyelash glue just come off within seconds. I love this product now~
They have the cleansing wipe too but so far they only sell it in packs of 4 I think. Good for trips~ I guess the best thing about this remover is that it is water base and not oily. Its going to be my favourite eye make up remover.................! Next I may be trying their face make up remover. I tested it on my hands but seems quite mild. Probably cos its water based.... Shall try and see!
Anyway, just a random photo of me and Shellie May. See, we got the same eye color.
